Shunsaku Hayashi's first feature-length animated film
i n v i s i o n s
The first feature-length animated film by Japanese stop-motion master Shunsaku Hayashi,
inspired by his experiences after the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011.

Humanity has long believed the absolutes of the world to be immutable and unique.
But if those absolutes are absurdly shaken - like the sun becoming just one of many -
can we still trust our sight?
Can we still rely on touch as markers of reality in a world
where new principles are endlessly painted over, one after another?
